I got an email from Joerg last week and he mentioned that I barely covered Skype *blush* so I dusted off version 1.2.0.48 (released 20th April 2005) and sprung into action with v2.5.0.141 (released 23rd August 2006) and I had a great time :) I don't use, and perhaps wont use Skype a great deal as I don't really have a use / need / desire for Calling online but I thought I'd check out what else was on offer and what basic text IM'ing was like... my conclusion.. it's great! I've only touched on the bare basics, not the features, and of course I had to check out the smileys that Skype offers, and boy do they offer a few.
