IMPORTANT...It's not as hard as it looks but make sure you have read all the pages in this section before you attempt the tutorials...
NOTE: Just to reiterate... for the Smileys that you have editied to show on other ppls IM's they too MUST have the same files as you do :-)

Putting the Secret Smileys on the Drop Down Menu...
First of you need to decide which of the Smileys on the Drop Down Menu...

Create a folder on your desktop.. call it Originals (or something you'll remember)
now navigate your way to c:/window/my programs/yahoo/media/smileys
open the folder, hold the CTRL key down, now left click on..
e.bmp
e.rtf
i.bmp
i.rtf
k.bmp
L.bmp
L.rtf
M.bmp
M.rtf
Y.bmp
Y.rtf

release the CTRL key and right click on one of the files (they should be highlighted blue)
select Cut
make your way back to the Originals folder on your desktop
open it, right click inside and select paste


now rename all the files to...
ee.bmp
ii.bmp
kk.bmp
LL.bmp
MM.bmp
YY.bmp
leave these as they are..
e.rtf
i.rtf
k.rtf
L.rtf
M.rtf
Y.rtf

this creates a back up of the file and by leaves a reference to the original file.

Hold the CRTL keyand select all the .bmp files
Right click on a file
select copy

navigate your way back to c:/window/my programs/yahoo/media/smileys
right click a blank area inside the folder
select paste
now start to rename the files...
ee.bmp becomes L.bmp
LL.bmp becomes e.bmp


ii.bmp becomes M.bmp
MM.bmp becomes i.bmp


kk.bmp becomes Y.bmp
YY.bmp becomes k.bmp


now you have a new set of .bmp files again which consists of..
e.bmp with keystrokes of :((
L.bmp with keystrokes of 3:-0
i.bmp with keystrokes of :B
M.bmp with keystrokes of @};-
k.bmp with keystrokes of |-)
Y.bmp with keystrokes of :0)


e.bmp, i.bmp and k.bmp will now show on your drop down menu as the Secret Smileys. The rtf files will be automatically created when you click on the Smiley for the first time.
