Intro...
(or go to [Yahoo Messenger
versions 4,0,0,953 - 4,1,0,998] for tutorials specific to version 4 )
I confess, I started playing around with editing the smileys again within 24hours
of having the beta installed.. why? well I just had to! I couldn't help myself!
To those of you who followed the trials and tribulations that Andrew, Steve-e
and myself went through [editing
smileys] in 400953 you just knew that we'd be doing it again ;-) This section
is not only for editing them again should you choose to it's also for non std
tweaks.. so walk with caution should you decided to do anything listed in this
section.
Use the navigation menu in the left column to navigate this section..Behind
it All is the category heading. It takes you step by step through the
process...
from the [Intro]
(this page) through to where to find the [Yahoo
Messenger Smileys] which are stored on your computer.
We've also have a detailed a [Smiley
Reference table] which shows you the smileys as they have evolved through
the different versions including their file names etc.
[Yahoo's Ghost] puts to rest the rumours...
then we move onto [Editing
Smileys] if you so choose to.. and for those of with your own web site the
[Online Status Message]
and [Custom Status]
which is an article written by Alissa will take you through editing the status
icons on your web page...
that just about covers the section as it stands so grab a coffee kick back and
enjoy :-)
NOTE: This section is by no means a "hack"
or "crack" section for Yahoo Messenger, the smileys or the IMV's..
it's simply a way to personalise you're own version of messenger to suit your
tastes and sense of humour...
