E*TRADE Financial™
For those who are $ driven and need to stay up to date with the finanical market then the E*TRADE Financial IMVironment would be heaven in your messenger window. A heafty beast and we dialup users are left a little out in the cold when it comes to streaming video but if you don't live in the USA then the accents will keep you amused ;-) A tonne of links to keep you occupied for hours and hours... right now I'm listening to something about doing your 1040's... I guess that's the same as our IR5's and IR12's... ?

Sonic Adventure 2™
I'm pretty ho hum about this one.. partly due to lack of free time I have available for playing any sort of game... or perhaps more so it's my age... which of course means I really can't say too much about Sonic as I've never had the pleasure of lying on the floor and taking on this wee critter (I can see you cringing now Devon.. no doubt I'll get the "look" for that statement) but rest assured the young folk (and young at heart) have told me that once again this is an IMV worth having... trust those in the know I say ;-) So have it I do.. I've dusted it off a couple of times and had it forced upon me by those in the know.. nothing quite like having Garfield bumped out of your IM to get your back up though ;-) There are a couple of active links that help you part with your money and get up to speed re this critter... RadioShack - Slice of Paradise
If you like to shop till you drop then [Radio Shack Web Site] is the place to be. Nice IMV but had us a little confused as to the theme in relation to the site.. but thumbs up :-) Would have liked to have heard the sound of waves lapping.. also a chilled bourbon would have been cool but hey you can't have it all ways.
Buzz (ctrl+g) is a ringing cell phone.. kinda cute and no where near as annoying as the real thing can be ;-)

Ice Age™
is pretty cool! The graphics are great and as you're happily chatting away on a background that's sedate enough to please any font/colour addicted YIM user, Scrat the sabertooth squirrel trots around your IM window working his way to the front where he scratches at the ground.. complete with sound ;-) From the IMV (options top right corner of the IM window) you can preview the movie trailer, visit [iceagemovie.com] or check for [showtimes] in your area. The movie trailer bombed for me (dialup) but Julz had no problems at all (dsl) and chuckled away to herself so I gather she'll be dragging me along to see the movie when it hits ours shores.. showtimes are not available/applicable to those of us down, down under so no idea when it's arriving here but if you check out their awesome site [www.iceagemovie.com] you'll see it starts screening (America?) March 15. [macromedia flash] is essential if you want to preview their site.. but it's well worth it if you don't already have it installed. As Julz was busy watching the movie trailer I got a head start on their site and and was well on my way acorn collecting.. you really have to check it out to see what I mean ;-) We plonked around the IMV for a while, played with the features and caught up on our day... 30mins into it "Buzz" took on a whole new meaning and I was happily aiming my "Buzz" in Scrat's direction. Now it could just have been the time of day (wee hours of the morning) that caused the wee fellow to grate on my nerves but the competition heated up to see who could splat Scrat with the acorn closest the front of the IMV and screenshot it... ... I lost.... this shot belongs to Julz... her great timing "Buzz" which drops an acorn on his head was well timed for this perfect shot. If you liked the Monsters Inc IMV then this one will perhaps tickle your fancy also :-)
