Earlier this week I took Meetro for a spin around the block... it's... interesting :) Meetro is different in that it swings towards actually meeting ppl in your area and while it's not something that appeals to me I can see how and why it would appeal to the masses. You have your typical friends lists and then random ppl (what Meetro classes them as not me ;) are grouped by proximity to your location... it's all about location, location, location :) There is a Windows and a Mac version available, and while Windows version offers by far the better experience Mac user should still check it out. One thing that did puzzle me though... the default smileys for Meetro are the ones you find in Yahoo! Messenger and MSN Messenger...
