Yahoo Messenger "The All New Yahoo! Messenger" ~ Problems?

Audibles woes?
• Remember you need to have Macromedia Flash Player (at least v6, current version available is v7,0,19,0 released 22 April 04) so check that first.
If Flash is causing you some grief you may need to uninstall then reinstall, check out http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/remove_player.htm
• Try deleting the contents of....
C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Audibles
then try to load the audibles again
• Audibles wont load?
Download Audibles.zip (2.5mb) unzip the file then cut and paste the contents across to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\cache\Audibles
The file above contains the contents of the cache\Audibles folder (as @ 24 Jule 04) as per the norm, virus scan before you unzip :)

Downloading?
• can't / wont download using the installer?
try the direct approach instead by using the messenger build number
eg: current version (as @ 8 June 04) 6,0,0,1643
so enter...
http://download.yahoo.com/dl/installs/ymsgr/ymsgr_1643.exe
hit enter / go and your download should start automatically

Want a previous version of YIM?
• e.g say you want to get your hands on v5501358 you can download it by using the following link...

for 5501246 you'd put in
